CPCWHS1001 – Work Safely in the Construction Industry “White Card” (WHS General Induction)
The course is aimed at all workers carrying out construction work, including: self-employed persons, laborer’s, apprentices, trades-persons, supervisors and project managers. Students will learn the basic principles of health and safety in the construction industry as well as information about preventing workplace injury and illness, workplace injury management and workers compensation.
This White Card Course will replace a range of state systems operating different coloured cards (Blue, Green, Red) and regulatory bodies. The transition of this to the National White Card will take place in each state at different times The unit of competency is called CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces
This nationally accredited course is to provide employees with the necessary training to enter and work in a confined space. This unit covers the control of entry to confined spaces, for maintenance, servicing of vessels of other necessary reasons.
This course is aimed towards employees that may need to work in a confined space or supervisors of employees who work in confined spaces, also those that maintain confined space equipment. Though there are no qualification prerequisites, participants must be physically able to enter confined spaces.
This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles undertaking work in confined spaces. Participants must be physically able to access and crawl through a confined space.

RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights. This course emphasizes working safely at elevated positions. Participants will learn about fall prevention, harness use, and safety equipment required for tasks at heights and:
- key legislation required to work safely at heights
- key policies, procedures and documentation required to work safely at heights, including:
- statutory and regulatory authority requirements
- principles and techniques for work safely at heights, including:
- heights safety systems
- safe work methods
- principles and techniques for identifying names and functions of equipment, components and materials
- principles and techniques for complying with equipment manufacturer instructions and specifications
- safe shifting and handling of tools and materials
- principles and techniques for identifying relevant hazards and emergencies

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Previously known as Apply first aid or Senior first aid, this course will give you the skills and knowledge required to provide First Aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, in a range of situations, including in the home, workplace or within the community, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
- Students will be assessed through the demonstration of practical skills, participation in role plays, analysis of case studies and a written quiz.

HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest. Content is based on Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelineses.

- Cultural issues
- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of a automatic external defibrillator
- Debriefing and welfare
- The recommended industry standard to maintain current competency is for this course to be refreshed every 12 months.
- Students will be assessed through the demonstration of practical skills, participation in role plays, analysis of case studies and a written quiz.
